Attackers may establish longlasting access by manipulating AUs, which are intended to simplify permission administration. An attacker can keep undetected influence over infiltrated systems by assigning covert roles through secret membership AUs or creating "sticky" backdoor accounts in restricted management AUs. Although meant to improve security, these features make it harder for businesses to identify and remove unauthorised individuals.
