An AI model developed by Roblox can quickly interpret text exchanges across 16 languages—including English, French, and Japanese. Language hurdles are one way that Robloxs CTO, Dan Sturman, hopes to promote comfortable user engagement. The platform uses a Mixture of Expert MoE architecture with a transformerbased Large Language Model LLM to run many translation apps effectively. Sturman stressed that Robloxs privacy and security policies remain unchanged, with prohibited terms continuing to be screened by the translation AI.
